Knoebels Amusement Park


Less than four miles away from the Cozy Corner is Knoebels, America’s largest free admission amusement park. This family friendly attraction has rides for kids of all ages and is home to the #1 wooden rollercoaster in the world.  And when you need a break from the rides, Knoebels also offers traditional carnival games, museums, theaters, a golf course (though it does have a dress code). Even a pool filled with mountain stream water. 

Valley Gun & Country Club


 If you’re interested in sport shooting, this club is located just four minutes away. Try your hand at skeet shooting, trapshooting, sporting clays, and other clay targets. 

Covered Bridges


Hop in your car and travel into the past. Columbia and Montour Counties are home to 25 historic covered bridges. The Krickbaum covered bridge is just 3 miles away. 

Spyglass Ridge Winery


Located in a renovated 1814 bank barn, Spyglass offers a large selection of dry and sweet wines and even has an onsite microbrewery. Just 15 minutes away, this unique winery also plays host to concerts, weddings, and many other events.

Rolling Hills Red Dear Farm


Stop by during the summer and fall for a fun and educational hayride tour covering two acres of rolling landscape. It’s a chance to hand-feed some of the more than 400 red deer. Take a few pictures. And even pick up an antler souvenir or some jerky before you leave. 

Montour Preserve


Less than a half hour away from the Cozy Corner, the Montour Preserve offers year-round activities. Walk along trails that offer beautiful views of this natural preserve. Enjoy a picnic or barbecue at one of the pavilions. Fish off the pier. Explore the fossil pit. Stop by the sugar shack. There are enough family friendly activities to fill a whole day.  

Old Forge Brewing Company


If you want to experience a true American craft beer experience, then you must take the 

14-minute drive to the Old Forge Brewing Company. In addition to year round and seasonal hand-crafted beers on tap, their Brewpub highlights the farms, craftsmen, and artisans from the area. From the ingredients on its delicious menu to the beer mugs, everything was created by the locals.

Bill's Old Bike Barn


Imagine 55,000 square feet filled with more than 100 vintage motorcycles and other antiques and Americana memorabilia. That’s what can be found when you step into Billy’s Old Bike Barn. Whether you own a motorcycle or not, this is one stop you won’t want to miss.

Lewisburg Antique Malls


If you’re into antiques or flea markets, then this 31minute drive is one you’ll want to make. The Lewisburg Antique Malls are three different malls all located within feet of each other. Each one has its own unique variety of items, so there’s bound to be something that you’ll want to pick up for the ride home.

Ricketts Glen State Park


This is one of the most scenic areas of Pennsylvania. Comprised of 13,050 acres and home to 21 waterfalls, this park offers plenty to explore and plenty to do. During the warmer months you can enjoy hiking, swimming, boating (rentals are available), and fishing. During the winter, there’s cross-country skiing, snowmobiling, and even ice fishing. It’s a 53-minute drive from the Cozy Corner, but if you love doing things outdoors, there’s no better place to go.

Worlds End State Park


Surrounded by the Loyalsock State Forest, This 780-acre state park is located in the valley of the Loyalsock Creek. Its natural beauty offers many photographic possibilities. And its location offers just as many outdoor activities to enjoy. It’s over an hour away, but it’s worth the drive.
